Domestic Day

We awaken to a decidedly chilled Barcelona. We concede by zipping our outer jackets, but we are still grossly underdressed by city standards.

It was in the low 50’s, and nice in the sun. I’m happy without gloves. But the wind has begun to blow, and we remember from our time on the Costa Brava how debilitating the wind can feel in these parts.

Given the wind and cold, we delay our plan to go to a cactus garden that is perched on a cliff above the ocean, and opt instead for AM market shopping followed by a leisured meal in a parking lot converted to food court.
