My partner Kitty and I have always been avid travelers. Our initial travel experience was 6 weeks with Eurail passes when we first got together in 1982. We’ve lived in Asheville, NC since then, and have prioritized traveling through the years. Our blogs would be of particular interest to other women and/or queer independent travelers & photographers. We are moving into our late sixties, and find ourselves increasingly attracted to “slow travel” as our mobility flags. We always try to stick to a budget. We go to Europe when we can, and have a persistent attraction to Barcelona and Canada.

It’s our hope that our experiences can provide some armchair travel pleasure for friends and other readers, and offer some useful information and inspiration for future adventures.
